What is Strategy?

As a spider you want to cast a web. How do you start? You ask what a web is and what it is for. A web is a structure made of silk threads for catching food - protein (aka customer). Silk threads are investments creating daily protein costs. Caught food is your protein return.

You notice a protein (aka customer) seating on a plant’s leaf. You start to run, but you’re too slow to catch it. Even if you had a web casted over that leaf you wouldn’t catch this protein, because your web isn’t sticky enough.

Sticky web gets noticed by proteins (aka customers) to the point that it glues them to its surface. Web is sticky by being similar to foods protein eat, but also differs by offering something their daily foods lack. So, strategy is doing something ordinary in an unconventional way.
